Scappoose is now OPEN

We had enough rain to moisten the ground and vegetation and reduce fire danger. This may have been a sucker summer and if it gets really dry it may close again with no notice. Also, walk-in hunting is gearing up, so wear something bright and don’t make deer sounds.

Finally, we like to talk about how good we are at being good stewards, so when you see litter near the trail head, PLEASE pick it up and dispose of it. The land owners notice the same piece of litter week after week under our tires also.
