CPET: Zaandercross at Frenchman’s Bar
September 21st, 2013
Rebound/Tireless Velo presents the 2nd annual Zaandercross .
The race is located at Frenchman’s Bar Park in Vancouver, we’re affectionately calling it the Koksijde of the ‘Couve. Its our take on the power-sucking sand-filled courses of Belgium. It’ll be a hard day for sure as each lap will have 2 extended sand sections, several barriers, a runup, and the usual assortment, of grassy turns, a little gravel, some pavement & some good old-fashioned dirt. It will take an allaround rider to do well. We’ve got a great group of sponsors with some awesome prizes from Bogs, and the Commons Brewery. Throughout the day judges will be watching to see which riders “rock” the sand and special “SANDMAN” prizes will be awarded. Come see if you’ve got what it takes!
