Today at 4pm: The 2nd Annual Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day in Cascade Locks, Oregon.

It is Saturday October 5th. Hosted on the Cascade Locks Mountain Bike Trail – easyCLIMB trail sponsored in part by the Port of Cascade Locks.

I hope you are staying dry during our Rain-pocolypse. Well the good news is mother nature is getting it out of it’s system as the forecast is looking good for the next week. Come on out next Saturday after the kids are done with their weekend sports for the annual International Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day, where kids come out to a fun event to play and ride their bikes. Northwest Trail Alliance is hosting this event in Cascade Locks on the easyCLIMB trail that was developed for families and kids. We are going to have a lot of fun activities for the kids including the Wenzel Coaching skills course, Kiddy Cat ride, guided tours of the trails, music, free food, helmets from Providence Hospital, lots of raffle prizes for the adults, gifts for the kids, and our ST-240 trail building machine on site for the kids to play with.

Registered participants will also receive a NWTA glass, stickers and kid helmet if needed. Cost is Free, thanks to the Port of Cascade Locks, Lumberyard, River City Bicycles, Providence Hospital, Wenzel Coaching, IMBA, and the Dimwits WithBriteLites.
