Filmed by Bike is a film festival of the best bike-themed independent short movies from around the world. Filmed by Bike was founded in 2003. The organizers hoped for 40 attendees and were pleasantly pleased when more than 60 people came out for the very first screening. Filmed by Bike was an instant hit!

Hundreds of international entries are submitted but only an average of 45 make the final cut. A panel of esteemed jurors makes that tough decision.

The festival is held every April in Portland, Oregon at the Clinton Street Theater. The festival kicks off with a rockin’ street party on opening night. We close off the street, bring in the ruckus, DJs, and beer garden as we spend the night reveling in film and bike culture.
