Bei bester Stimmung und regem Zuschauerandrang durften die insgesamt 49 männlichen und 16 weiblichen Finalisten den UCI Four-cross Weltmeistertitel auskämpfen, wobei der Begriff „kämpfen“ beim Four-cross durchaus wörtlich zu nehmen ist.
