Join us for the first ever “4 Hours of Downhill Mt. Bike Racing” event here at Skibowl!

There will be medals for all classes: Open Pro men & women, Cat 1, Cat 2 and Cat 3. Over $2,000 worth of swag will be given away! The Pro-purse will be $200. there will also be a “Scrambled Egg Hunt” with great prizes. Take as many runs as 4 hours of riding allows. The Fastest times will be awarded at the base area after the race at approximately 4:00pm. Time intervals for sending riders will be approximately one minute.
Registration is from 8:00am to 10:00am on Sunday, September 7th, 2014. Racing will be from 11:00am to 3:00pm. No practice will be available due to shared events. You may practice on Saturday with a bike lift ticket purchase.
The Race will be from the top of the Upper Bowl via the Skyline (not ridge) trail to the Cannonball trail ending at the Warming Hut, weather permitting. The alternate for bad weather will be the Gnar Gnar to Fire Hydrant Trail. Plan on bringing supplies to the base of the Upper Bowl lift for repairs and support – you may only access via the Lower Bowl Skychair – NO DRIVING. You may send some supplies with the race transport vehicle at 10am.
Race fees are as follows: $30, plus $25 Bike Lift Ticket and a $5 OBRA fee. For questions call 541-890-8191.
