Tom van Steenbergen has quickly made a name for himself as one of the world’s most progressive riders, with a signature front flip that’s earned him the respect of the sport’s elite freeriders. Bike’s videographer Rupert Walker recently caught up with van Steenbergen to see how he’s recovering from a horrific crash sustained while attempting what would have been a record-setting 73-foot front flip over the Red Bull Rampage canyon gap.
