Mitchell Ridge Work Party
help us make a stellar first impression with our new Oregon State Parks liaison
We love Mitchell Ridge. And we really like Steve, our new contact at Oregon State Parks. He came to us last month with some requests regarding the “new” lower section of Mitchell Ridge, also known as The 1/2 Mile of Radness. There are a few spots that could use some touching up, and by touching up, we mean lots of digging and moving of dirt and cribbing of turns.
Now, Steve has never seen how enthusiastic we mountain biking advocates can be about our trail work. We want him to understand just how much energy we’re willing to throw at the trail system to keep it in tip-top shape.
Help us make a great first impression by showing up. Saturday, December 13th, 10am at Seven Streams Staging Area. Please carpool from the bottom of Post Canyon Road, as parking is limited. Bring shovels and trailbuilding tools and 5 gallon buckets. We need 30-40 people. Please RSVP here.
We’re hoping for good weather. If you don’t hear from us, the work party is on. Stay tuned to our Facebook page and our website for news. No news means we’re on.
Thanks for all you do for our trails. You guys are awesome! See you on the 13th at 10am.
