The Guts Behind the Glory documents the lives of those riders that have sacrificed the relative safety of a regular day job to pursue their passion, despite receiving little backing from big name sponsors.

Episode 2 gives us an inside look at downhill racer Matt Simmonds. A regular on the World Cup scene, Matt Simmonds achieved his best result in 2013 with a fifth at the Worlds. The aim now is to push on and turn that promise on to getting some World Cup podiums.
