Cyclists – you will want to come to this meeting. They heard us last time, but we need you to see what they have developed based on our input.

Metro is hosting another community open house as part of a months-long effort to plan the future of four properties in the North Tualatin Mountains. The four sites – Burlington Creek, Ennis Creek, McCarthy Creek, and North Abbey Creek natural areas – total about 1,300 acres. Metro is planning how to continue to protect habitat while potentially providing new opportunities for hiking, trail running, off-road cycling, wildlife viewing, and other activities.
The May 6 event will build on two community open houses in September and December of 2014, where neighbors and community members helped define the values that will shape the plan and discussed opportunities for habitat restoration and recreational activities.
At the May open house, Metro staff will share several options for each of the four properties and listen to community feedback about each option.
When: Wed., May 6, 6 to 8 p.m.
Where: Skyline School, 11536 NW Skyline Blvd. Portland, OR 97231
Come share your input. We look forward to see you!
