Hello Trail Lovers,
Featuring this week: The Reroute of Coyote Wall Trail
The US Forest Service within the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area will oversee the construction of a 2.6-mile mountain bike-optimized trail in the Coyote Wall (“Syncline”) area this Spring. This will be a more sustainable re-alignment of the highly-eroded “legacy” trail that now hugs the cliff’s edge. Construction is expected to last from April to July. PLEASE do not remove pink pin flags. For more information, contact (541) 308-1700 or go here: https://www.fs.usda.gov/detailfull/crgnsa/recreation/?cid=fseprd1169070 for more information and FAQs.
