About Dirt Diaries: Each summer, six filmmakers are invited to tell a story – one athlete, one vision, four to six minutes of pure mountain bike magic. Production begins in early summer, with the world premiere lighting up the big screen during Crankworx Whistler in August.

There’s just one rule: at least 25% of each film must be shot in the Whistler Valley and Whistler Mountain Bike Park. Beyond that, it’s open season on creativity. Filmmakers choose their team, set their scope, and carve out their own visual terrain. Dirt Diaries is a blank canvas for up-and-coming and established creatives, where the Crankworx is celebrated and the sport’s top storytellers go full send.
