I brought my mountain bike to Shenzhen, China to check out the mountain bike scene and scout for some future projects – and what I saw while I was there absolutely blew my mind.

I was definitely not prepared for all the futuristic stuff that I experienced while I was over there, and I think you’ll be surprised to see it, too. From flying cars and amphibious vehicles – to a thriving mountain bike scene with secret underground test facilities, this place is fascinating to explore!

What began as a mission to share mountain bike skills and tutorials with the riding community in China has now turned in to something much bigger. This first trip was a chance to see it with my own eyes, and I came home with so many ideas for how we could positively impact this community. It was so refreshing to see how hard they’re working to develop the mountain bike scene in China, and I definitely plan to help however I can.
