More than 600 miles of singletrack surround Bend, Oregon—and the vast majority are maintained by volunteers.
Every year, over 1,600 mountain bikers with the Central Oregon Trail Alliance (COTA) log more than 20,000 hours of trail work. From clearing trees and reshaping berms to digging new downhill lines at Wanoga, they’re the reason Bend’s mountain bike trails ride as well as they do.
This short film shines a light on the people behind the maintenance—trail stewards, sawyers, and community builders who are keeping Bend Oregon mountain biking world-class.
