We just got word from the Hood River County Forestry Dept.

The Hood River County Forest and all trails are closed to the public at this time. This means Post Canyon trails are closed.

HRC Forestry’s (HRCF) goal is to reopen trails as soon as possible. We have begun coordinating with HRC Public Works, State Parks, Trail Adopters, and Professional Trail Builders to repair impacted trails and initiate maintenance and grant projects. Please be advised that additional closures may occur and, “on the ground closures” supersede those included in this communication and those shown HRCF Digital Trail Map.
