How a small northern community turned mountain biking into a movement.
Shift is an inspiring documentary about the Indigenous youth of Carcross who spent over a decade transforming their traditional trails into one of the most exciting mountain biking destinations in the North.
What began as a local project to build bike trails quickly grew into something much bigger. The young riders worked together to create a world-class MTB network while reconnecting with their land, strengthening their culture, and reshaping the future of their community.
Set in the breathtaking landscapes of the Yukon, the film follows the riders, builders, and community members behind the transformation, showing how sport, culture, and identity can come together to create lasting change.
More than just a mountain biking story, Shift is about community, resilience, and the power of youth to redefine their future.
