Great race idea, and absolutely killer route! I am a bit leery of the climb back up Surveyor’s Ridge Trail. The lead half of the pack will meet a LOT of downhill traffic, and that trail has numerous blind corners, brushy areas, etc. Would you consider routing the climb out on the adjacent road (FR 1720?). Not as much fun, I know, but potentially much safer. Again, fantastic idea for a race.
