Let’s Build…Gateway Green

As many of you know, NWTA has been among a broad range of partners and supporters on the Gateway Green project. After years of grassroots support and partnerships with local, regional, and state governments, as well as the private and non-profit sectors, we have the opportunity to transform this asset into Gateway Green, a world class off-road bike park that will include many elements including singletrack, gravity, bmx and cyclocross.

During the past year, signifcant progress has been made and we now have an opportunity to move the project forward in a big way. Friends of Gateway Green has launched a crowdfunding campaign with the goal of raising $100,000 to complete detailed planning for the site. This will enable us to pursue larger grants and donations, and will demonstrate a broad level of support from the community.

Funding for this new project began September 5th and is off to an amazing start, with over $35,000 raised in the first few days! Any amount of donation is welcome, the number of contributors will demonstrate wide support for the project and will communicate to the City and other project partners that this project is worthy of additional funding.
