Day One
In this installment of Wicked Hawt Ride Spawts I ride some of the townie trails in Bend, Oregon—looping from the Cascade Highway Welcome Center, up COD to Storm King, Funner, Tiddlywinks, and back on COD.
Day Two
In this installment of Wicked Hawt Ride Spawts I ride some more of the trails that are immediately accessible from Bend—COD, Marvin’s Gardens, Ben’s Trail, Lower Whoops, Storm King, and Catch and Release. A lot of people say that Bend is entirely non-technical. This isn’t entirely true. I also crash hard on a skinny.
Day Three
On our third day in Bend, Oregon, I met up with Dave Wilcox and we decided to loop the 14 mile Mrazek descent from Phil’s trails. This ended up being one of the hardest and most rewarding rides we did.
Day Four – Swampy Shuttle
On our fourth day in Bend we dropped a car at the Cascade Lakes Highway Welcome Center and shuttled up to Swampy Lakes Sno-park and rode: Swede Ridge, Sector 16, Upper Whoops, Phil’s Trail, and COD. It worked out very well.
