This last weekend I took part in an annual group ride hosted in Portland, Oregon by @somethingcycles called “26” or die!”. This ride is dedicated to 26″ bikes from all ages but mainly 90s MTBs. We putted around Portland for about 30 miles and then finished at some food carts for grub.
Nic (or @somethingcycles) is a one man bike shop based out of Portland, Oregon specializing in refurbished bikes (typically 90s-00s 26″ bikes) and is also the only instore seller of Primos bikes in Portland metro.
I was lucky enough to be introduced to the Portland cycling scene last year (2025) through Nic and the group rides he hosts roughly once a month during the summer. I honestly owe a lot of the connection and experiences I have from the initial rides with @somethingcycles .
Hope you enjoy 🙂
