n May of 2026, Braydon Bringhurst stood at the bottom of Gouranga, an iconic double-black-diamond descent in Squamish, British Columbia. The trail is steep, technical and high consequence, and will give even experienced riders jitters.
But Braydon wasn’t there just to ride down Gouranga. He’d done that already, many times. This time, he was there to ride up it.
Impossible? Likely. But that uncertainty is where Braydon thrives, and each failure is just another piece of the larger process. And for Braydon, that’s where the joy lies.
