Super Rider: The Easiest Way To Learn MTB Switchbacks

What if you could learn switchbacks without riding switchbacks? This one drill will give you everything you need to dial in for the switchback technique – and the best part is that you can practice it on flat ground – anytime, anywhere!

When we ride tight circles on the ground, we have to use our body to keep the bike balanced (doubly so if you’re moving slow). Get your body back on the bike to anchor your rear wheel in place, and then trace the outside of the circle with your front wheel. Your rear wheel isn’t going to be completely locked in place, but it’ll move a fair bit less than your front wheel, and that’s what we want to lock in.

Those new tires worked awesome today, I’m so glad I swapped out the XC tires that I originally had on this bike. Check out the Continental Kryptotal 2.4 (Front and Rear-specific) tires here: https://jenson.sjv.io/jr7Rga
